I Met A Famous Person!
Hi again. Yes I’m back. I got a lot of positive feedback from my first post so first of all thank you. I wasn’t going to do the second post so near to the first but my french homework didn’t take long and I have nothing else to do. Also you have no clue how surprisingly good today was! Today is a Thursday and they are my WORST days of the week – listen to this:
Double Maths Double English Geography History Double Chemistry
It is hard even looking at it. On Thursdays I usually don’t get lunch break either as I have choir so I don’t see or get to talk to many of my friends. Honestly just not a good day.
But today WAS a good Thursday. For maths we got a different maths teacher who I preferred to my usual and I sat next to two of my good friends. In English we finished our posters and began to write any type of poem we wanted about primary school which was actually quite fun although I only got 5 lines done. I usually enjoy geography but I got very hungry today and that was all I could focus on and it really bugged me. I got some work done but all I could think about was Oreos. I don’t know why but I have had a huge craving for Oreos recently and today was an especially big craving day. I just love Oreos! I need to stop thinking about them.
Ok. I can’t. I think I have a problem.
At lunch my self confidence was put to the test. I ran to the lunch hall and grabbed at panini and here we go. *big breath*.
Walked down to school again. By myself! *applause*
It sounds pathetic but I cant remember the last time I walked down from the hall without a someone. Sorry. I’ll stop going on about it. The reason I did this is because I needed to get changed quickly so I could head to yoga club and yes you heard me right. Yoga club. What has got into me? It really is a New Year, New Me. Yoga club was very relaxing and I will definitely be going back.
Our netball game was cancelled today. Screw James Gillespie {which is a school not a man}. But thinking about it, I am glad it was. Because…
I met KT Tunstall. The famous singer, former pupil, KT Tunstall. I am still buzzing.
Before catching the after school bus to netball, I knew she was in the Home Ec department. I really wanted to catch a glimpse of her so me and Keira {who actually gave me the confidence to do it} ran to the window. I got very shaky and very hyped when I saw her. We were about to leave when Mrs B {a chemistry teacher} came running up and asked if I wanted to meet her. OMG. OMG. OMG. Not many of my friends know her music but I have seen her live and her songs are on my playlist. I was very excited. Our head gave me the visitors book and I waited for 5 mins for KT to finish her interview. And then yes. I spoke to her she hugged me, she asked my name, I sang to her, a pro photographer took many photos and she was SO nice. We missed our netball bus but it was so worth it. And anyway we got a mini bus up so arrived just in time for the warm up. Don’t think my heart has beaten that fast for a long time. I literally love her!
Can you now see how surprisingly good but bad day was?
Sadly I didn’t get any Oreos but for tea dad dyed our pasta blue {don’t even ask} and a moment ago he came up to my room with a left over Xmas Santa for me!
(My sister also just gave me her slime – who remembers the craze?)
Love Martha B X
