Tropic Skincare Clear Skies Review
I was very kindly gifted one of Tropic Skincare’s new product, Clear Skies Cleansing Powder.
As you may already know Tropic is my favourite skin care brand and their products are the only things I use on my skin.
Earlier in lockdown I did two ‘pamper’ Zoom calls with a very close family friend, Jen Linford, who is a Tropic ambassador.??
When you buy a Tropic product/products you can choose to shop with an ambassador. If you choose to buy any products after reading this you could investigate some local ambassadors you may have near you or you can help our friend Jen by using her link here.
She reads and knows about my blog so offered to send me a free trial of Clear Skies in exchange for a blog. So of course I said yes!!
Just to start nice and simple – I absolutely love Clear Skies.
Clear Skies is a powder which is designed to:??
- Reduce blocked pores and the appearance of enlarged pores by 35% after one use and a further 25% after seven days of continued use
- Reduce excess sebum/oil on the skin by 81% after one use and 46.15% after seven days of continued use
- Improve skin clarity and brightness by 46% after one week of continued use
- Increase skin’s moisture levels by 25% after seven days of use
I personally am not too prone to bad acne or spots but I do get the occasional blemish and this product has really helped me.
Clear Skies is not designed to remove makeup so if I am wearing make up or mascara (which I’m not usually) I will use the Tropic Smoothing Cleanser before hand.
Clear Skies is filled to the brim with goodness.
- Two types of plant enzymes that work together to cleanse away excess oil, dirt and dead skin cells.
- Blue Spirulina (which is a type of bateria) which helps to clear and refine the appearance of pores.
- Hyaluronic Acid which ensures that minimal moisture is lost during the cleansing process.
- I posted a demonstration video on my FaceBook Page so if you click here then you should be able to watch that.
To use the cleansing powder you need to firstly unscrew the top and take off the foil stopper on top. Screw the top back on and I recommend shaking the bottle for about a minute to loosen the powder before use. The bottle has a flip lid with one side open so you can pour the powder out into your hand. Or you can unscrew the lid to do so also.
One thing I would say is that it is occasionally quite tricky to get the powder out. The powder can get stuck around the small opening and you have to pour it more than once into your hand to get the right amount. That is why I shake the bottle before use every time so it loosens the cleanser.
You do not need a huge amount of Clear Skies to reach the coverage you need.
Pour about a teaspoon of cleanser into your palm and then add a few drips of water, you hardly need any. Then just rub your hands together and it quickly turns into what looks like a liquid cleanser. It goes a light blue at first but then it goes white. Apply it to your face and rub in for about a minute using circular motions. If you apply for long enough to your skin will absorb the cleanser.
It has an incredibly natural smell, almost a coconut smell! It make my skin feel very smooth and healthy.
After the product has been used to the fullest, I get my Tropic Bamboo Cloth and gently wipe away the Clear Skies leaving me looking quite shiny and bright.
You can use the cleansing powder by itself but I tend to follow by using my Tropic Vitamin Toner and then by using a few drops of Tropic’s Pure Lagoon Blemish Prevention which has also really helped my skin.
When I have spots on my face I use Clear Skies every day, morning and night. Otherwise I only use it every 3-4 days so my skin and pores are not being laden with too much product.
I am not lying when I say the spots on my face disappear after 2-3 days of use.??
It is astonishing what it can do to your skin. I’ve never used anything so effective.
I love Clear Skies so much. It gets a massive thumbs up for me. Thank you Tropic Skincare!
Obviously I will 100% recommend that you purchase some Clear Skiesfor only £17 from Tropics website which you can find if you click here.
If you click on the words underlined in this blog it should take you straight to the product on the website.
Whilst I’m here talking about Tropic I also recommend that you take a look at the ABC SkinCare Collection which includes the absolute essentials for your every day routine. It includes the Smoothing Cleanser, Vitamin Toner and Skin Feast along with your choice of face mask to Clear Your Skin, Deeply Hydrate or Lift Your Face. Plus you get a free Bamboo Face Cloth!
I hope you take a look around their website and maybe even purchase Clear Skies for yourself, especially if you are prone to bad breakouts. If you have a sister or a mum who like to take care of their skin, browse Tropic with them. I share my products with both my mum and sister who adore Tropic as much as I do.
We even bought some of the Men’s Products for my dad for Father’s Day.
Thanks again Jen for gifting me Clear Skies, I love it and I hope if you also purchase a bottle that you all will too!
